What if my temporary 31-day permit expires before I receive my new plates or registration?
We provide one temporary 31-day permit per vehicle and can assist with an 'Affidavit in Process' if your state takes longer
What documents do I need to title and register my vehicle?
To title and register your vehicle, you will need a valid US driver's license or passport (depending on the state), and a used vehicle title transfer
Used Vehicle Title Transfer
We will help you properly transfer ownership of a used vehicle. Transfer of ownership from the seller to the buyer is not completed until the title is turned in at the registrar or deputy registrar's office, where the excise tax and related fees are paid
How do I sell you a vehicle?
We will help you transfer ownership of a used vehicle, and the seller must provide a title from the state in which the vehicle was last licensed. If the current title cannot be located, we can apply for a duplicate, and the seller must provide a signed release from any lienholders listed on the title. Current owner(s) name(s) must appear, and all owner(s) must sign as seller(s)
What if the title is in a deceased person's name?Â
If the title is in a deceased person's name, different states require different paperwork, including a copy of the death certificate, executor rights paperwork, and a signed title. We will need to reach out to your individual state for requirements
My Title Is Signed Over to Someone Else. Can I Cross It Off? Or use the next section?
Crossing off a signed title or using the wrong section will make the title void. If your name has changed since the vehicle was titled, you must sign the title as it appears on the front of the title. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about titling and registering your vehicle
